Treatment of patients with alopecia areata and total alopecia by intracutaneous injections of hydrocortisone

In treating 34 patients with alopecia by intracutaneous injections of hydrocortisone (25 mg each) the author observed in 16 cases clinical recovery, in 8 cases[long dash]improvement and in 10 cases[long dash]no effect. No serious complications were noted. The author recommends his method only for cases of alopecia areata.
