Variations produced by strains of the influenza virus of A and B types during their development

Variations produced by strains of the influenza virus of A and B types during their development

Rev Roumaine Inframicrobiol 3(3): 257-265

The study of some strains of influenza virus of the A and B types indicate differences in the proportion of particles not eluting until 37[degree]C and the response to cortisone action. Looking at this data, one can see that among the populations of the strains of influenza virus isolated during the last few years, there is an increased proportion of active particles compared to historic virus. The possibility of a U+ or a U- gene existing and the genetic aspect of these changes are discussed.
