A field experiment was conducted in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, during 2003/04, 2004/05 and 2005/06 to study the performance of sugarcane cultivars CoS 96269, CoS 95255, CoSe 98231, CoS 99259, CoS 98247, CoS 96275, CoS 97261, CoSe 95436, CoSe 95422 and CoS 767 (standard) under 2 irrigation deficient condition against 5 irrigation deficient condition during the formative stage.
