A study of human sera antibodies capable of neutralizing the virus of lymphocytic choriomeningitis

A study of human sera antibodies capable of neutralizing the virus of lymphocytic choriomeningitis

Publ Health Repts 54(22): 938-944

Of 680 sera obtained from various portions of the U. S., 18.1% contained antibodies capable of neutralizing the virus of lymphocytic choriomeningitis. The highest incidence found was among 165 sera collected from California, Montana, Utah, and Oregon, of which 46.6% were positive, while 280 sera from other parts of the U. S. concurrently tested gave but 8.2% of definitely positive results.
