The present paper describes a suggested and realized by the author algorithm for optimized monitoring control of the process of convective drying of lumber in chambers. The algorithm consists of science-based computation by programmable logic controller of energy saving individualized regimes for drying lumber and follows fully the automatic carrying out by the controller of the calculated current values of the parameters for each regime.
