Abstract
Content of 16 amino acids in mulberry leaves (dicotyledone), viha seeds (Typhonodorum madagascariensis, monocotyledon, Araceae), peanut-cake meal, blood meal and meat + bone meal are noted; cystine and tryptophan are omitted from this group. Protein quality is discussed. In mulberry leaves, content of aspartic acid, threonine, serine, proline, methionine and histidine increases with age, while leucine, alanine, tyrosine, glycine, glutamic acid, lysine, isoleucine, valine and phenylalanine decrease.
