Amounts of nitrogen H P Co Experiment 1 AN comparing application of 250 500 , 750 kilos ammonium sulfate per hectare

Amounts of nitrogen H P Co Experiment 1 AN comparing application of 250 500 , 750 kilos ammonium sulfate per hectare

Sugar News [Manila] 25(11): 590-591

On Silay sandy loam of similar analysis as that of the expt., an increase from the standard practice of 500 kg. ammonium sulfate per hectare to 750 kg./hectare, while lowering the juice quality slightly, can be expected to result in highly significant gains in cane and sugar yields per hectare.
