At first a detailed review is given concerning the results of the numerous experiments with feeding antibiotics to laying hens. Then, a test with the addition of Aureomycin at various levels of 10, 50 and 100 g respectively of Aureomycin per ton of feed during 48 weeks is described and results which mostly agree with the American experiences are discussed.
