Diagnosing the response of hard spring wheat cultivars to the local application of mineral fertilizers

A search for approaches to the diagnosis of response of hard spring wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) cultivars to the local distribution of fertilizers in the soil was performed. Some parameters of root growth on heterogeneous and homogeneous substrates correlate with the response of cultivars to local fertilization under field conditions.
