For obtaining higher growth and subsequently yield from rabi hot weather groundnut, it should be grown at 15x10 cm2 spacing (444 444 plants/ha) on raised bed (60 cm width at the top, 30 cm furrow between 2 beds with 10 cm height) covered with 7 micron polythene mulch and should be irrigated at 0.6 IW/CPE ratio upto 40 DAS (pre flowering stage), 1.0 IW/CPE ratio from 40 DAS to 80 DAS (from flowering to early pod formation stage) and 0.8 IW/CPE ratio from 80 DAS to maturity (pod formation stage to maturity) with 60 mm depth of water per irrigation.
