Effect of sources and levels of phosphorus using P-solubilising inoculant on cowpea Walp

Effect of sources and levels of phosphorus using P-solubilising inoculant on cowpea Walp

Crop Research 12(3): 387-389

The field experiments for two years were carried out during kharif 1993 and 1994 at University farm, G. K. V. K. Bangalore on the growth and yield of cowpes grains by varying sources and levels of fertilizer phosphorus in conjunction with P-solubilizing inoculants in an effort to assess the efficiency of added P fertilizers. Strains of Aspergillus awamori were used as inoculant. Preponderance effects of combined application of SSP and MRP inoculated with P-solubilizing inoculant at 10 kg each ha-1 were noticed on growth and yield of cowpea grains on alfisols.
