Effect of transgenic bt corn pollen expressing Cry1Ab toxin on longevity and fecundity of Trichogramma ostriniae in the laboratory

Acta Entomologica Sinica: 2, 227-233

ISSN/ISBN: 0454-6296

The effect of transgenic Bt maize pollen expressing Cry1Ab toxin (event Bt 11) as a diet on longevity and fecundity of Trichogramma ostriniae were assessed in the laboratory. The results showed that the amount of Cry1Ab toxin detected in Bt maize pollen was 115.13+or-7.29 ng/g fresh weight by ELISA method.
