Objective: The aim of this study is to lay a foundation for illustrating the biological characteristics and growth regulation mechanism of hair follicles. Method: Cashmere goat primary hair follicles were separated under aseptic condition and cultured in serum-free DMEM and serum-free Williams E media respectively; subsequently, the growth rate and morphological changes were observed under the inverted microscope.
