Effects of different net energy levels on the growth performance, nutrient digestibility and concentrations of serum amino acids and urea nitrogen in growing pigs fed low crude protein diets

One Hundred and twenty crossbred pigs (Duroc x Long x Large) at the average body weight of 22kg were randomly divided into five treatments with 6 replicates of 4 male and female pigs in each replicate fed with dietary supplemented with low crude protein and amino acids at five net energy levels, i.e., 10.54, 10.28, 9.96, 9.63 and 9.45 MJ/kg. Significant effects of different net energy levels on daily feed intake and feed conversion rate (FCR) were not found (P>0.05).
