Effects of inoculation with arbuscular-mycorrhizal (AM) fungi and phosphorus fertilization on dry weights of shoot, root and seed, and uptake of N and P by the shoots of mungbean (Vigna radiata L.) were studied in pots in sterile and non-sterile soil under water-stressed (60% WHC) and unstressed conditions in a net house. The inoculation with Glomus mosseae increased dry weight of shoot and root, seed and N and P content of mungbean.
