Genetic variability studies in wheat under timely and late sown irrigated conditions

An experiment was conducted during the 2002/03 rabi season in Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, on 150 advanced breeding lines of bread and durum wheat along with 3 control cultivars to estimate the relative extent of genetic variability for different characters and to identify the genotypes superior to the best control cultivars in the different character classes.
