Interrelation between Landrace pigs performances and the form of feed administration

, : Interrelation between Landrace pigs performances and the form of feed administration. Bulletin Of University Of Agricultural Sciences And Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napocal Science And Biotechnologies: 1 2, 62-65

The study was conducted to determine the effect of feeding programmes on the growth rate of Landrace pigs (n=240). The pigs were divided into three groups: the control group received ground dry feed; group 1 received wet feed 1/1 and group 2 received pelleted feed. Results revealed that the 60 kg body weight target was reached three days later by the animals under wet feeding and four days earlier by the animals receiving pelleted feed when compared with the control.
