The test of 100 Norway spruce individuals, which were filled at a specific moon phase, which was considered to impact positively the timber properties, proved that the Orientation of the harvesting time on a certain moon phase has no effects. No difference in the moisture content of the sapwood could be observed in dependence from the harvesting period neither in dependence from the orientation of the crowns upwards or upside down to hill slopes when storing the logs.
