Abstract
The effects of cutting age of triticale (X Triticosecale Wittimack) on its nutritive value, fermentation patterns and silage quality were evaluated in a completely randomized design with 4 replications. The cutting ages were 83, 90, 97, 104, 111 and 118 days after sowing. An increase of 0.26% and a decrease of 0.12% unit on dry matter and crude protein contents were observed, respectively, for each additional day in the cutting age.
