The campus of Federal University of Vicosa (UFV), Vicosa, Minas Gerais state (20 degrees 35' to 28 degrees 50'S and 42 degrees 45' to 43 degrees 00'W), has been maintaining its gardens since 1926, but there is a lack of floristic surveys. We aimed to produce a checklist for phanerogamic species at UFV campus; calculate the frequency of cultivated tree species; verify which taxa are Brazilian and which are not; and compare our results with surveys of other campi in Brazil.
