Teat canal length in relation to the shape of teat tip

Veterinaria (sarajevo): 1 2, 44-54

Data were obtained for 606 cows aged 2-15 years. Four principal shapes of the streak tip were observed: (a) regularly rounded; (b) flat; (c) pointed; (d) inverted, the percentages of incidence being 42.6, 20.1, 14.2 and 23.1 respectively. Corresponding distribution by udder quarters was practically identical.
