The inheritance of physiological white spot in malting barley

Report Of The Kyushu Branch Of The Crop Science Society Of Japan: , 31-32

This examination was carried out in Fukuoka prefecture, Japan, in 2006, to determine the genetic factor of white spot leaf on malting barley. 6 F<sub>1</sub> lines that were bred from various combination of parents with or without white spot leaf were examined to see their dominant / recessive genes. Also 345 F<sub>4</sub> lines and 54 DH (doubled haploid) lines were examined to determine their hereditary patterns.
