Urolithiasis in equines

The equines can have urolthiasis and the vesical calculi is most common. The mechanism of formation of the urolith in unknown and some factors can be involved in the formation of disease. The aim of this paper is to describe the occurrence of a cystic calculi in a horse. The animal with clinical signs of blockage of the urinary tract and diagnostic ultrasound of a stone in the bladder was submitted to surgery.
