Water productivity and soil chemical properties under varying water regimes on spring rice in Hanoi, Vietnam

Decreasing water availability in rice production would require the need for higher water productivity, and one approach to deal with this challenge is through water-saving practices. Field experiments were conducted during 2007 spring season at Hanoi Agricultural University Experiment Station in Gialam District, Hanoi, Vietnam to quantify the effects of water-saving regimes on water productivity, soil chemical characteristics and crop yield in spring rice.
