A new species of the genus Tetrastichus haliday is a parasite of the sawfly Blasticotoma filiceti klug from Kemerovo Oblast, Russia

The new species, Tetrastichus rasnitsyni, an endoparasite of Blasticotoma filiceti Klug is described. The species differs from T. heterus Graham in shorter segments of the antenna, twofold numbers of setae on the front edge of the marginal vein, smaller distance between submedian lines of the scutellum, shorter coastal cell, and in coloration of the body.
