Objective: The authors provide a diagnostic system for the development of a comprehensive prognosis method of Disease Steps in Medicine and Earthquake prediction. The authors use imaging of CT and MRI to research the progression of disease. The method: Multi-dimensional stereological prognosis is used in medicine, earthquake prediction problems. Methods: CT 3D imaging system provides powerful functions such as image preprocessing, reslice, surface rendering, volume rendering, manipulation. The system acquired dynamic medical images and analyzed them for disease step, that provided a basis for diagnosis in disease treatment. Materials: CT findings of hepatocarcinoma rupture in liver cases proved both surgically and pathologically were reviewed. CT characteristics of variable pathological changes of ruptured hepatocarcinoma were analyzed. Analysis of liver cirrhosis, intrahepatic locations of the tumor, and central necrosis of the tumor, were divided into three steps to describe the process of liver disease. Result: All ruptured tumors were located at the periphery of the liver, many cases had a protruding contour. Enhanced CT can raise the diagnostic accuracy of hepatocarcinoma rupture; it should be taken in those patients suspected of hepatocarcinoma rupture by clinical findings, diameters of tumours ranged from 2 to 16cm. Conclusion : Stereology provides a technique used in medicine that can also be used in some aspects of geo-sciences.
