Treatment of Mortons neuroma A review of 36 cases treated by neurectomie

39 neuromas were treated surgically between 1991 and 2000. That represents 33 feet in 30 patients. Female predominance was clear with an average age of 48 years. Neurectomy was used in all cases. The follow up period was over than 3 years. At review 30 feet were examinated, that represent 36 neuromas. 34 were painless; Shoe wear was normal in the whole serie except 10 patients. 14 commissural hypoesthesia and 7 commissural and pulpar hypoesthesia were noted. 31 scar were painless, hyperkeratosic 3 times. The neurectomy led to a total disappearance of pain in 90%.
