Triassic Pteridophylla from the north of Chile II Genera Dejerseya Herbst, Linguifolium Retallack and Yabeiella Oishi

Revista del Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Nueva Serie 6(1): 49-59

In this second contribution to the taxonomy of incertae sedis leaves from northern Chile, the following taxa are described: Dejerseya lobata (Jones & de Jersey) Herbst, Dejerseya lunensis (Johnston) Anderson & Anderson, and cf. Dejerseya sp.; Linguifolium lillieanum Arber, Yabeiella brackebuschiana Oishi and an undetermined leaf type. Specimens are from: La Ternera Formation (several localities from Cerro La Ternera), Las Breas Formation (locality Punta del Viento, area of Vicuna, east of La Serena) and El Puquen Formation (locality Bahia de los Lobos, area of Los Molles). All these units are of Upper Triassic age. Finally, the diagnostic characters of Dejerseya are slightly extended.
