A nomogram for estimating the required number of samples of an aggregated distribution

A nomogram for estimating the required number of samples of an aggregated distribution

Gidrobiologicheskii Zhurnal, 206: 74-77

Plankton and benthos organisms are mainly distributed in water as aggregates. A nomograph is suggested for estimating the number of trials to be collected. The organisms distribution is described by the negative binomial law.
