Abstract
During the last decades, Lasiommata maera (Lep., Satyridae) was strongly receding in the Mark Brandenburg. The species occurs on half-shaded aisles and clearings in pine forests which support a diverse flora of Poaceae and provide a sufficient supply of flowering plants and an increased potential for humid conditions during the flight period. The distribution in the Mark Brandenburg is outlined.
