Courtship and mating behavior in the Latrodectus genus is yet little known, mainly in Brazil. This study describes the aspects of the courtship and the mating behavior of Latrodectus group mactans in captivity. The results demonstrate that both the courtship and the mating behavior of Latrodectus group mactans have been similar in most aspects to those which are known to other species of Latrodectus.
