, : First record of the cave cricket Troglophilus neglectus Krauss, 1879 in Germany Ensifera, Rhaphidophoridae, Troglophilinae Nachweis der Hoehlenschrecke Troglophilus neglectus Krauss, 1879 in Deutschland Ensifera, Rhaphidophoridae, Troglophilinae. Entomologische Nachrichten und Berichte, 443: 161-163

A small population of the cave cricket Troglophilus neglectus was discovered in the Elbsandsteingebirge, during the winter of 1992/93. Previously, this species was only found in the eastern Mediterranean area and in southeastern Austria. The locality, the circumstances of the discovery and observations of the animal are described and the possible origin of the population is discussed. This is the first record from Germany.
