Glossiphoniid Hirudinea associated to Lemnaceas en Los Talas Pdo de Berisso Hirudineos Glossiphoniidae asociados a Lemnaceas, en Los Talassss Pdo de Berisso, Buenos Aires

, : Glossiphoniid Hirudinea associated to Lemnaceas en Los Talas Pdo de Berisso Hirudineos Glossiphoniidae asociados a Lemnaceas, en Los Talassss Pdo de Berisso, Buenos Aires. Neotropica (La Plata): 44111-112: 65-68

Five species of glossiphoniid hirudinea were found in the area: Helobdella hyalina Ringuelet, 1942; H. triserialis triserialis (Blanchard, 1896); H. triserialis lineata (Verrill, 1874); H. adiastola Ringuelet, 1872; H. simplex (Moore, 1911). Specimens were collected from a chanel located at Km. 6 (Ruta Prov. No. 15, Los Talas, Bs. As.). Twelve samplings were made between August/1994 to July/1995. Helobdella hyalina and H. t. triserialis are the species with higher mean density and were found during the four seasons. Helobdella adiastola and H. simplex were only found during summer and autumm and their mean density were low. Helobdella hyalina, H. t. triserialis and H. t. lineata are dominant and constant. Helobdella adiastola is dominant and accessory, while H. simplex is accidental. The period between January and April/1995 was characterized by a higher specific richness, because the five species were found. The lower one corresponds to August/1995, when only H. hyalina was found.
