The Rock Pipit (Anthus petrosus) is known to have one or two broods per year. A study of this species' biology has been carried out since 1993 on the eastern shore of Saint-Brieuc Bay in Brittany. Besides the considerable information already collected, this study has shown the possibility of a third "normal" brood for this species.
