, : Rhodoprasina mateji sp n, a new sphingid from China Lepidoptera Sphingidae Rhodoprasina mateji sp n, eine neue Sphingidae aus China Lepidoptera Sphingidae. Nachrichten des Entomologischen Vereins Apollo. Oktober; 273: 153-155

A new species of the genus Rhodoprasina ROTHSCHILD & JORDAN, 1903 from the Daba Shan (= Mts.) of SW Hubei province, China, is described and figured: Rhodoprasina mateji sp. n.; holotype male ex coll. Tomas MELICHAR, Pribram, in coll. National Natural History Museum, Prague. Within the genus, R. mateji most closely resembles R. corolla CADIOU & KITCHING, 1990 and R. winbrechlini BRECHLIN, 1996, but can be easily distinguished by several external characters, as well as the male genital structures. The female and the preimaginal instars of this new species are unknown.
