Boletim do Museu Nacional Rio de Janeiro Zoologia. 20 Setembro; 460: 1-19

New information on Hyla marginata Boulenger, including morphological and biological data and descriptions of the tadpole and of the vocalization are provided. The geographical distribution of the species is revised, based on specimens deposited in museums and new collections. We discuss the possible relationship of Hyla marginata as member of the "pulchella" group sensu Duellman, de la Riva & Wild (1997).
