A cytogenetic examination of 11 persons worked at the experimental greenhouse was carried out before and after their short-term occupational contact with insecticide pirimor (pirimicarb). Pirimor is found to significantly increase the average frequency of chromosome aberrations in the peripheral blood lymphocytes of the examined workers. Individual sensitivity to a cytogenetic action of perimor in vivo and in vitro was analyzed before and after contact with it. A conclusion is made on pirimor potential mutagenic hazard for human beings.
