A new type of gel (a mixture of carboxymethyl-cellulose and agarose) allows the determination of Ig G heavy chains by electroimmunodiffusion using a very small volume (5 μl) at a level of sensitivity of 1.3 mg/l. This method seems easier and more reproducible than the previous described by us [1.
