Infection control committee reviews policies, cuts costs

Hospital Medical Staff 9(12): 23-28

Working in cooperation with other hospital departments, especially nursing, the members of an infection control program were able to review and change hospital policies and procedures without compromising patient care. This collaboration resulted in hospital policies that are more uniform, rational, and workable and a savings of $63,000.
