The latest Census Bureau figures on the number of uninsured Americans gave more fuel to those behind the new healthcare law. The statistics show 50.7 million had no health insurance in 2009. "The economic downturn has affected everyone so it is not surprising that more people are without insurance," says Richard Umbdenstock, left, of the AHA.
