谷胱甘肽硫转移酶K1(glutathione S-transferase kappa 1，GSTK1)是一个参与脂联素分泌和多聚化的关键蛋白，且在线虫中已经证实，GSTK1与能量产生和脂质代谢有关。同时GSTK1表达水平与肥胖呈负相关，并能缓解内质网应激诱导的脂联素水平下降，而且人GSTK1启动子的多态性与胰岛素分泌和脂肪沉积有关，因此，GSTK1可能成为一个治疗胰岛素抵抗及其相关的代谢疾病潜在的药物新靶点。.
