Ultrasound evidence of pelvic cysts in women of reproductive age is a quite frequent event in gynecological practice. In the clear majority of cases, they derive from the ovary, the tubes, or the uterus (i.e. cystic adenomyomas, colliquated myomas) while a small part of them can originate from the bowel.
