Abstract
The state of the land reclamation infrastructure directly affects the efficiency of process management using agricultural land reclamation and represents a serious production and environmental problem of the society in cases of their degradation. One of the key factors in these processes is the decline and inefficient use of existing drainage systems. As an inexpensive and promising method for assessing the state of agricultural field drainage systems, it is recommended to use remote sensing data of the earth, an application that allows to receive promptly high-quality information is considered. The main stages of obtaining and processing remote sensing data with the help of an automated unmanned aerial vehicle (quadrocopter Geoscan 401) are described, which are used to solve the following tasks: determining the location of the closed drainage system of the agricultural field, localizing its faults; Determination of the degree of overgrowths in an open drainage system, assessing the efficiency of drainage systems and fixing the boundaries of field sites prone to water erosion. Specific examples of solving these problems are given, as well as methods of using aerial photography data for composing orthophotomaps tied to the global positioning system for the formation of terrain models, models of water flows in agricultural fields and calculation of the main vegetation indices.
