Abstract
The recently published EULAR/ACR Criteria for the Classification of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) combines clinical criteria with standard laboratory testing (1). One stated advantage of these new criteria is that they perform better than prior criteria in patients with early onset SLE.
