The β-exotoxin of Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner was evaluated for larvicidal activity against Orthellia caesarion in cow manure, and Phormia regina in an artificial diet. Dosages varying from 2.5 to 100 ppm were tested and the LD50 for Orthellia was calculated to be 8.65 ppm and 22.9 ppm for Phormia. Some pupal deformities were also recorded.
