There are given the foundings on the affect of long-term use of fertilizers and meliorant on humus content in leached chernozem. It has been established that application of organic and mineral fertilizers helps increase humus content and its mobility on the whole profile and enhances the capacity of humus level at the expense of its migration forms. Defecate application on organic background increases humus content mainly within the humus level and minimizes the content of its migration forms. Defecate on mineral background is less efficient.
