Summary
This paper discusses the key points for selecting evaluation indexes and determining the maximum limited values of toxic substances in greenhouse ambient air for vegetable-growing. Particulate matter, sulfate, nitrate, lead, fluoride, carbon monoxide, benzo-a-pyrene, ammonia, chloride and C2H2 were selected as the evaluation indexes and their maximum limited values were also given. Considering the status in China, the maximum limited values of each toxic substance are presented and compared with the correlative criteria of the WHO, America, Canada, Australia and other countries.
