Summary
Experiments of isolation and artificial infection tests had been done and two strains of the virulent pathogenic bacterial were available. According to the morphological features, physiological and biochemical reacts, one strain was identified to be Proteus mirabilis and the other was Aeromonas hydrophila. The results of the artificial infection showed P. mirabilis caused the rotten-skin disease and A. hydrophila caused the red-leg disease. So it is considered that A. hydrophila and P. mirabilis are infected to the bullfrogs and cause the rotten-skin and red-leg disease.
