Summary
The influence of the above-mentioned substances on 7 strs. of C. albicans was studied on liquid media by means of the stimulographic method (Acta path. microbiol. scand., 45, pp. 107-112, 1959, et passim). All the strs. utilized the phosphatide, polysaccharide, and nucleo-proteid fractions of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and the phosphatide fractions of M. phlei, Nocardia, Streptomyces, and Trichophyton. C. albicans developed normally in solutions containing various mixtures of M. tuberculosis fractions.
