Making erythematous-reaction as provoked by the intracutaneous injection of 0.1 cc 10.000 fold diluent of histamine hydrochloride. Respectively 10 healthy males and females (11-14 yrs. old) were subjected to this experiment and the results were analyzed. (1) Intracutaneous injection of histamine solution mixed with 5 kinds of antihistaminics made reaction roughly 50% weaker and retarded the time necessary to reach at the reactional zenith. (2) Controlling effect of histamine reaction provoked by the subcutaneous injection of anti-histaminics 20-30 minutes after procedure, this effect continued 50 minutes after procedure (roughly 20%). (3) Individually, 5 different anti-histaminics and histamine injected subcutaneously, showed very little difference; while anti-histamine-histamine injected in combination, showed marked individual differences.
